Download the latest drivers from HP's support website (support.hp.com). Search for your printer model. Even if the printer is in error, you may be able to download and install the drivers. Sometimes, outdated or corrupted drivers are the cause of the error. You might need to temporarily connect the printer directly via USB if network connectivity is affected.
