If the error appears right after adding an NVR, double-check the NVR's IP address, username, and password entered in IVMS-4200. Verify the NVR is on the same network segment or that proper routing is configured. A simple reboot of both the NVR and the computer running IVMS-4200 can also resolve initial connection issues.
