First, try a different USB cable. Next, disconnect and reconnect the printer to your computer. Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into both the printer and the computer. If the problem persists, try a different USB port on your computer. Finally, update or reinstall the Canon G3010 printer driver from the Canon website.
