Try using a universal printer driver (UPD) instead of the specific driver for your printer model. Some printers function well with UPDs. You can download UPDs from the printer manufacturer's website (e.g., HP Universal Printing PCL 6). Make sure to completely remove the old driver before installing the UPD.
