What Sting's message in the song ?

Sting denounce the Cold War (Guerre Froide, je ne sais pas comment on dit en anglais) and the destruction between the Usa and the URSS (Pareil que pour la guerre froide). He is saying and hoping that the Russian loves their children too because for him, it's the only thing that can save the world from a nuclear war beacause the Russian own that weapons. In the lyrics of the song we can see that sentence : "Oppenheimer's deadly toy". By that one, he wants to insist on the fact that the American physicist Robert Oppenheimer is the father of atom bomb and that the war can start at anytime.
